Lesson #13: Money can buy you happiness.

8/1/14.

Money can buy you happiness.

It can definitely buy you happiness.

And whoever said it didn’t was a dirty liar.

But.

Money can’t buy you the best kind of happiness.

I started to get confused between the two.

But the reality is this.

Money can’t buy you the best kind of happiness.

You can’t let money run your life.

You’ll be constantly angry, sad, and frustrated.

And that’s not the way to live.

Money can’t buy you the best kind of happiness.

I can’t tell you what your best kind of happiness is.

But you will find out.

Maybe you already have.

Maybe you will find out 100 times, 100 different ways.

But when you do, you will understand.

You will understand that your best happiness is priceless.

It’s unlimited.

It’s unnumbered.

And money isn’t.

Money can’t buy you the best kind of happiness.

It can’t buy you people, moments, places, experiences.

It can’t buy you something that can be replaced.

It can’t buy you a friend’s smile, or your mom’s laughter, or the twinkle in your dad’s eye, or how she looked coming down the aisle, or how he held you that night, or that little baby in your hands, or a cool breeze, or the water on your toes, or the sunshine on your face.

It can’t buy what’s stored in your heart.

It can’t buy you what’s yours forever.

Day Twelve.
