It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparing yourself to someone else.
It’s easy to think that they are winning. That they are ahead, or above.
It’s easy to think that you are less.
But you can’t cling to conclusions.
You aren’t losing. You aren’t behind, or below.
You aren’t anything… really.
Well, compared to them, at least.
Because there is no comparison.
You are different.
You are on a whole other playing field.
I don’t mean this with a bad connotation—or a really good one either.
There is no competition, simply because there are two different arenas.
The only person you are going against, is yourself.
And the floor is all yours.
