There is a difference between being afraid but putting yourself out there anyway, and forcing yourself to do something you know isn’t right for you.
It’s this certain feeling; this certain wall of resistance. While one kind of wall has a certain hope and excitement lingering above it, one just feels like doom. I haven’t quite figured out the perfect equation on how to differentiate the two. But I know now that while the gut and the mind can play tricks on you, the heart never lies.

You’ll learn soon enough that when it comes to making decisions for yourself–the heart is the best moral compass.
Especially when you truly learn how to listen to it.
